Subject: [CEMARC] Storm Activation - Repeater Coverage
Date: Mon, 17 Feb 2003 04:36:36 -0000
All clubs are urged to establish and maintain coverage on their repeaters
during tomorrow's Storm.
It has been suggested that clubs establish an Informal Net, utilizing
volunteers on two hour watch periods, to listen for and assist in passing
any Emergency or Relief Traffic, and to assist in placing telephone calls
for those stranded or delayed by the storm.
ARES, RACES, SKYWARN, and other Emergency Team
members are reminded to check their GO-KITS for batteries, flashlights,
along with extra warm socks, gloves, and outer wear.
Monitor your primary ARES frequency for any alerts, requests for help, or
activation.
