Some of you have asked for the envelopes concerning the scenario for the
exercise. These are in the development process and will be released either
tomorrow night or Friday during the day. I will be at NWS Taunton for this
exercise. In my district, we will make initial contact on the VHF
frequencies but I'd also like to try hailing teams on HF via the 40 Meter
Net frequency listed in the plan and then move off to handle tactical or
formal traffic on a different HF frequency.

The following is a frequency plan for Southeast Massachusetts for the
Saturday February 8th Winter Exercise. The following agencies and teams will
be active:

-SEMARA/SEMCARES Team
-Greater New Bedford Red Cross
-National Weather Service Taunton Mass.
-Bridgewater EOC/Massasoit ARA Emergency Response Team
-Marshfield EOC/Marshfield Civil Air Patrol (CAP)
-Sturdy Memorial EMCOMM Team
-Fall River BCRA Emergency Response Team

The following are the frequencies:

HF Frequency Liaison for all area agencies and teams given timeframe of the
event:
7245 KHz (40 Meters) (Note: If not at 7245 KHz exactly QSY up to find the
net.)

>From NWS Taunton, we will make contact with all area teams at some point in
the drill via HF, QSY off of the net frequency and pass NTS traffic or
tactical messages as needed in the exercise. This will be done in addition
to NTS traffic and tactical messages on VHF frequencies.
