[W1SMH] Happy Holidays/ ARES Standby

I would first like to take this opportunity to wish all the members of =
the Sturdy Memorial Hospital ARC and their families. A very Happy =
Holiday Season and a very Prosperous New Year.

On New Years Eve the American Red Cross in Boston will be on a limited =
standby activation.  They will be available on vhf/uhf and some hf.  =
There are no other activations planned at this time.  I have been asked =
to report team availability to Rob KD1CY if this should need to go any =
further.  With the Orange Alert and the Air France cancellations today =
people are just trying to be prepared.  So if any one is going to be =
around that Evening not doing any thing special please just let me know =
your status. =20

    I do not want to be an alarmist but one does need to be prepared. =
Please enjoy your Holidays, and stay ever vigilant.
