[W1SMH] Upcoming Events

Ok the summer is over, let the events begin. I have given the SMHARC club
members a rest from seeing my e-mails. It is time to turn our attention from
summer fun, too hamming it up.

First thing coming up is the Sturdy Memorial Hospital/ Ro-Jacks road race on
Sept 29, I am looking for about 8-10 people for this one, Art ( KA1PES) if
you could just get me times and staging area at AHS, that would be great.

Second, the Yankee Golden Retriever "Dog Walk" on Oct 20 at 10:30 AM. It is
at the Borderland State Park, in Easton. I will need around 6 or so on this
event. Fred (KA1CQD) if you have any further specifics just let me know.

That about does it for the public service events.

Now lets get into the contest spirit. I am looking forward to another fun
year. Last year we surprised ourselves, came in on top on a few of them.

Our next contest is the Nov sweepstakes. I don't know if we have enough CW
operators that wouldbe interested, but that would be on Nov 2-4. The phone
portion would be Nov 16-18. Any SMHARC club member interested in any of
these public service events or contests, please contact me.
