[W1SMH] YGRR Dog Walk

Dear SMHARC members,

I just wanted to get off a quick and sincere thank you to those of you =
who organized Communications at Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue's All =
Paws for a Golden Cause Dog Walk yesterday.  The truth is, we couldn't =
have done it without you.  Not only did you provide a safety net for =
people and dogs along the trail, you pitched in to help with set up and =
clean up, loading and unloading the truck, assisted at the water =
stations, removed splinters, and even helped out when we had a stray dog =
wander into the festivities.  All above and beyond what you volunteered =
to do.

Today, I spoke with Wendy Garraghty, YGRR's Executive Director, about =
the Dog Walk.  She raved about how wonderful you all are, how polite, =
pleasant and helpful you were, and said to let you know how much she =
appreciates your giving up a day off to help us out. =20

You might be interested to know that we raised $21,360 at the walk, the =
highest amount ever for one of our walks.  You helped us achieve this, =
and we are very grateful.

Thank you so much for everything you did for YGRR on Sunday.  You are =
great!
