The REd Cross Emergency Training net met last night on
80 Meters, there were 19 checkins. Jim N1IV and I
checked in from our club.

Last night's thrust was to compare equipment. Most
check ins reported running 100 watts or less and
dipole antennas. There were some loops and one
sloper.

Signals seemed to be best from dipoles.

Other:
The 10/25 and 10/26 drill is scheduled from 3 pm
Friday until 5 pm Saturday. the scenario is a
hurricane.
Ares freq is 3.965. NH will join on 3.943.
That's all that was said by W1AGP, Alan from CT.

Bridgewater REd Cross Chapter is looking for help from
a General or an Extra to help run their station during
the drill. If you can help email [email protected].

There is a Gulf Hurricane net on 3.935.

The December net will concentrate on emergency power.
All checkins are encouraged to use only emergency
power in December net. Others can join as well.
