Hi Folks,

We're planning on setting up an Amateur Radio Demo at the Downtown
Attleboro Wednesday Night Market on July 3rd and three other dates to be
announced later. We're planning on using 3 or 4 pieces of the aluminum
mast that we used on the GOTA Station with it's base plate and no guy
ropes. I have a 2nd mount for my Outbacker Perth antenna so we'll use
that for HF with either my TS-50 or the TS-2000. We're also going to try
some VHF SSTV with a roving cameraman sending images back to a laptop at
the base. As far as I know, we should be somewhere near the intersection
of Park St. and Bank St. in my white Windstar Van. Bruce, KA1IG advises
not parking in the Municipal Garage... it was grid locked last Wednesday
night. Setup begins at 4:00 P.M. and the roads are closed at 4:45 P.M.
The Market actually runs from 5:00 to 8:30 P.M.; any assistance that you
can offer will be greatly appreciated. Come down and operate for a
while, help with SSTV, talk to interested future Hams... whatever. We
can use some help.
