I want to take a moment and wish all the members of the Sturdy Memorial 
Hospital ARC and their families a happy Christmas and a safe and 
prosperous New Year.

Due in large part to the selfless efforts of clubs like SMHARC, the 
general public is beginning to take notice of Amateur Radio as a 
valuable public resource. Indeed, the Atlantic recently praised Amateur 
Radio operators and other volunteer groups in article entitled, 
"America's Secret Weapon in the War on Terror: Americans."

Keep up the great work; you have my thanks!
