[W1SMH] Reminder/Rules for ARRL 10 meter contest

    Ok the week end is here, the 10 meter contest begins tonight at 7PM =
and goes until 7PM Sunday evening. SMHARC members are encouraged to =
participate, at this time there are approximately seven people who are =
planning on participating. Remember this is a contest where not only our =
folks who like phone can participate, but CW operators as well. We get =
two points for each phone contact and four points for each CW =
contact.Our last at home participation worked really well, lets see if =
we can do as well if not better than the sweepstakes.
    Joe W1TW had showed some interest in operating at the club station, =
this is also encouraged especially for those who might not have a good =
contest set up at home. Just remember you can only operate from one =
location in a contest. Remember the only prerequisites are that you are =
a SMHARC and ARRL member, so that in the club affiliation the club gets =
the points.=20

    And again the deadline for submissions of the sweepstakes is six =
days away 12/18/02 and the deadline for the 10 meter submissions is =
1/15/03 in Cabrillo format.
