Hi Larry:

Your set is a nifty receiver, using an early form of neutralization. If you
look carefully, you'll see tiny capacitors formed with wire surrounded by
tiny strips of tubing. It was an excellent patented design.

You should be able to trace the circuit and draw a schematic. I power my
NR-7 from a homebrew power supply that uses a string of Zener diodes to get
the B+, along with some 3-terminal regulators for filament and C-. Be kind
to the tubes. They don't like excessive filament voltage. Don't ask me how I
know that!

Hi all,

A Freed-Eisemann NR-7 followed me home today. Got a schematic from
Nostalgia-air but the tube layout doesn't match.

Does anyone have any information on this reciever. Nice looking with a
bakelight panel and it looks like a Mahogany cabinet.

Thanks!

Larry WA9VRH
