To all-

I am starting the restoration process of an RCA model
19K (1935) AM-Shortwave console. I first tested all
the tubes last night with my Model 920 Precision tube
tester. I found that the only one that seemed to be
bad was the 6H6 (twin diode) tube seemed flaky. It
only measured about one third scale, still in the
"Bad" section. When I individually checked each push
button selection, some partially lit up the short
indicator. After testing, this tube felt very warm.
Should I conclude that the elements may have an
internal short between them? Unfortunately, I do not
have a spare to compare with.

Thanks.
