This is a repro I got a couple of years ago when I had an R-520/URR (now
gone). It was an eBay purchase from Ziggy7, who specializes in high-quality
manual reprints. He sells this one for $22 plus $4 shipping. I'll sell it
for $20 total, including shipping CONUS. It's in perfect shape.

Here are details, taken from Ziggy7's eBay posting: "This is a very nice
comb-bound reprint of the Army Signal Corps Manual #TM877 for the Zenith
Transoceanic model H500. Zenith made a slightly customized version for the
Army which is known as the R-520/URR. This is the manual to have if you own
an H500 or an R-520. It is much nicer than the little 5x8" original which
was designed to fit in the back of the radio. It has been enlarged to 8x11"
to make it easier to read, and the schematic is a nice big 11x17" fold-out.
The little original was a pain to look at because it was stapled together
and would not lie open. This one is comb-bound, so it will lie open flat on
your workbench. It is about 160 pages and one inch thick. It's also much
nicer to use than a manual on disc, and who wants to print out 160 pages?
Chapter one is the description and specs. Chapter two is the operator's
manual which explains all of the controls. Chapter three is the
organizational maintenance manual which covers routine maintenance and
lubrication. Chapter four is Theory, a 20 page discussion of what every
part of the radio does. Chapter five is Field Maintenance: Troubleshooting
chart (probable causes for various simptoms), chassis removal, voltage &
resistance chart (every pin of every tube to ground, find trouble without
smoke!), under-chassis photo showing locations of all parts, signal
substitution charts, stage gain & sensitivity charts, Repair instructions
including front hinge repair, dial re-stringing, and complete detailed
alignment instructions. There is a 42 page appendix devoted to a detailed
description of every part. Also included is the 27 page supplement dated 18
November 1955 which covers all of the info for the R-520A/Transoceanic 600.
The most obvious difference between the 500 and 600 is the slide-rule dial.
But there are many minor differences in circuitry, and this section
includes a separate schematic for the 600."
