Hi All,
Bob, W9RAN, raises a point of curiosity. I too am wondering how many songs
out there have had some Morse Code characters smuggled into their lyrics or
instrumentation?
The one I know of myself, is the Ray Stevens song "Save Me From Myself". It
has "SOS" done by an electronic Organ. Ray also says "SOS. Save me from
myself." in the lyrics after a while.
It is a catchy, but thought provoking, up tempo song and I wonder how many
times I listened to it before I noticed the CW in there!
How about you? Any of you know of a song that has any Morse Code characters
hidden in it? If so, lay it on us brother!
If nothing else, we can all go play our vinyl collection now and listen for
Morse messages! Hey. That's better then listening for Alien code with a
souped up low frequency TR metal detector! Then there is this Amana frost
free refrigerator I bought ten years ago ... I swear it is haunted! Now and
then, I almost think I hear voices when it is running. Yes, I am drug free
and sober! I complained to the tech when they delivered it and plugged it
in, that is sure the heck made a lot of noise! He said they all did, less
sound deadening insulation in the walls and doors etc. I would get used to
it. Wrong refrigerant breath! The darn thing still annoys me!
