[Vintage-Audio] Need Help With Sony DAT Message

Wrong! What you said was exactly correct Bob. However the 'clear' button is
on the remote, not the DAT deck itself.
I opened the doors on that six foot high wooden storage cabinet on the west
wall of the living room just below the James B. Lansing Century L-100 right
channel speaker to check my pile of new still in the wrapper remote control
units! I counted eleven. Not to worry, I found another three here and there!
I sure hope the remote I need says what it is for on it! I have a lot of
Sony audio equipment!
Tomorrow when the sighted help arrives, he and I are going remote control
exploring. Let you know what happens. Although both you and Sony agree,
press the clear button and all is well.
