Hi Duane and all,

So you must be the reason for my bookmarks for this receiver, Duane. I
was looking through some stuff and found that I'd even set up an eBay
search on it at one time, but couldn't remember who put me onto it.
Looks like a very nice receiver, can you offer any additional comments
Duane? Is this "Natural sound" thing just an advertising slogan or what?

As much as I like my tube stuff, there are times when it's nice to flip
a switch and just have sound. And if I remember correctly these were
late 70s vintage so I guess that fits the charter of this group. They
seem to be selling in the $100-200 range pretty regularly - are they
worth it?

While I've enjoyed reading the "small speaker" comments, my favorite
listening spot is still plunked in front of my single A7 Voice of the
Theater speaker, driven in historic mono by a pipsqueak 10 watt Knight
Kit amp. Life's too short for small speakers! But I'll confess I do
have a pair of Bose 901s hanging from the basement ceiling just like we
did back in the enlightened hippie days, to give a little wider sound
stage for the VOT. And they still sound like - - well, like Bose
901s. I think I need to find me some JBLs...
