[Vintage-Audio] FS: Altec 1568A Amplifiers

Happy, healthy New Year to the list.

I have two Altec 1568A Power Amplifiers that are surplus to my needs.

They have been completely tested. I have installed NOS Sylvania 
6CA7/EL34 tubes. The amplifiers have been "run-in" for 48 hours.

Cosmetically they are in good condition; not new in appearance.
I am the second owner. These were removed in service from a large 
private club in the city of Houston. They had been well maintained prior 
to their removal.

The optional line input transformer is installed in both units.

For those not familiar with these they a rated at 50 watts (real power 
<g>) and are rack mountable. Frequency response is +/- 1dB from 5 Hz to 
30kHz.

Nominal input impedance is 70k. With the input transformer in place (it 
plugs in) the options are 150 or 600 Ohms.

I am offering these amplifiers to the list before they go to auction.
