Well Duane, according to my calculations (and Google) - that would be 
one of the following gents:

Culley Holt        1948-1954  (died 1980)
Hugh Jarrett       1954-1958
Ray Walker       1958-present

So I suspect Hugh Jarrett is the one most of us remember from the Elvis Era.
