[Vintage-Audio] Viking tape recorders.

Anyone remember the VIKING tape recorders out of Minneapolis, MN?
I bought one around 1957. It was a great machine--thought the mechanics
might have been a bit weak. I used mine for broadcast purposes several times
and the stations were quite satisfied with the sonic quality.

But----I can't find a trace of them now. It's as if they never existed!
What happened to the company? Why aren't there any used machines?
