The Pioneer CD player is no better than some $29 thingy from
walmart. It may work, but...
The Advents will go down to 40-30Hz and do it so well that
your JBLs will blush. There just isn't much interesting in
music below 40 Hz anyway. remember that the JBLs are ported
bass reflex and the Advents are acoustically loaded sealed
boxes. Makes for very clean bass.
