Hi All,

I am having zero success at selling my high end stereo equipment as individual
pieces. Now I knwo that part of the reason is that I am not selling them at
cheap prices. However, every one of these items were professionally gone
through, all tubes that were even close to low, replaced, all output tubes in
the amplifier were replaced to insure full output and so forth. By the time you
add up the cost of having all the capacitors replaced, all resistors checked and
those out of tolerance replaced, all controls cleaned etc, it raises the price
considerably. But these were items I had planned on keeping for myself and had
no intentions of selling them. However, life has a way of changing our plans!

Do you think I would be better off to sell a complete system instead of the
amplifier, FM stereo tuner, tape deck and external Dolby unit individually?

I absolutely must sell this gear, as my doctor put me on a medication that my
insurance will not cover what they normaly cover and I am having to pay $250 per
month as my co-pay. When one is on a fixed income, that much extra every month
becomes a problem after a couple of months. The insurance company has agreed to
pay what they should be paying in June, but I have to make it from now until
then on my own. So I must sell this stuff. If any of you have ideas, please
contact me. I need your help guys.

thank you very much.

P.S. Worry not. I am keeping one vintage system, it is the second one that is
being sold!
