Michael,
Thanks for the reply.  I'll have to look at the receiver closer.  It was 
buried in the laundry room.  I didn't notice any of the features you 
listed but I'm getting excited to get it working.

I did fix a Pioneer SX-838 for a brother in law and started liking those 
big receivers.  The dial lights might be a nice change from the tube 
glow.  Plus I can always add a power amp (I'm assuming it has pre 
outs/amp ins).

I have an old Sony receiver and have used the mic input for an IPOD.  If 
you keep the gain low on the IPOD, it seems to work for the boys.  I do 
have an attic antenna that works great with my Fisher tuner.  I'm sure 
it will work with the Kenwood.
