[Vintage-Audio] Re Studio Grade Tapes For Sale

Absolutely. Very quiet background and great articulation. Duane, on "I
can't get started" (Track one of Honey in the Horn) I found sound as low
as 10 hz and high as 21888! The low end is not an indication of rumble,
that's barely detectable, sonically not even there. The histogram of a
representive slice shows strong presence from 53 hz to 16555 hz, with a
slight trough there, then another solid plateau from 16555 and 18066.
(other sections have nice plateaus as high as 20941). Very balanced, not
exactly flat, but not lacking in any one area either.

This recording has a great, solid, massive soundstage Duane. On my
Celestions the presence of the artists in the soundfield was palpable.
That room they recorded in must have some great acoustics (or great
treatments). I'm sure they had nothing but the best there though. All in
all very enjoyable. Thanks! I may be hitting you up for other things if
you are game. You mentioned Elvis singing gospel, was it with the
Jordanaires, the guy who could sing so low? I would love to hear some of
that.

Michael

And if you would like proof that I do terrific work, just ask Michael
who has heard my equipment on a CD I made and sent to him.
