[Vintage-Audio] shortwave people?

Thanks specifically to Douglas and to the good people on
rec.radio.shortwave for their advice.  Especially thanks to people on
this list who let me post off-topic briefly with no uproar! Not that I
would expect that here, this is a very civil list compared to some I
listen in on.
