[Vintage-Audio] Re Revox B77 Recording

Duane,

Your note rattled a brain cell or two, and bear in mind, it has 
been only 25 years or so since I've seen a Revox A77.  
I know yours is a B77.

OK, point is that for some reason I am thinking the remote control 
port, if the remote is not used, there may be a need for a jumper 
wire across two of the pins, for the front panel controls to work
properly.  Don't quote me on this, because I don't have a unit or
a schematic to verify this, but I seem to recall something like
this on some tape decks I've used in the past.
