Ed,
I have an extensive laser disk collection, but they are twelve inch. Pioneer was
the pioneer behind this technology and built the best chassis. Many companies,
Yamaha among them, bought a Pioneer chassis and added their own frills around
it. I believe the LD blows the DVD away easily, both video and audio wise. But
the DVD was never meant to be superior to the LD, just cheaper to make and a
smaller diamter gave it more applications.
Maybe somebody here remembers what technology was used for the ten inch disks?

Sort of the Betamax to todays DVD, I guess
Was given one a short time ago, "It works, but we gave away all of the
disks"
It appears to be the set that uses 10 inch disks of some unknown format.
Any interest before I split it between the parts "junque" box and the ash
barrel....
Oops, I'm giving away my age...... make that trash bin.
