Hi All,

Thanks to Bill, who is a former JVC employee, I now know what I own. They are
JVC alright, Japan Victor Components, not the same as Japan Victor Company.
These are made in the USA, all JVC were made in Japan. These are the so called
'knock offs'.

Interestingly enough, depending on who made the knock off speakers, many were
superior to the originals! Especially Japanese speakers. Several engineers of
Japanese electronics companies marketing speakers in the USA told me that
although the Japanese made some outstanding electronics, they did not do nearly
as well when it came to speakers. They all agreed that speakers built in the USA
were almost always superior. Even some knock offs.

I got lucky and got one of the superior products. There was never any doubt in
my mind that these were high quality and well built, I have been around audio
for for decades and can discern the difference, regardless of physical
appearance, quite easily.

This company, like most who built knock offs, is probably long gone. So the
chances of getting specifications for these tweeters is very unlikely. Theysound
terrific and that is really all that matters. Estimated age, by the way, is late
eighties.
