Fred is right. Bose uses four inch drivers and electronics to do the rest.
Sorry, but the 901 was more hype than happiness, Bose is great on the commercial
sound, but ho hum on the consumer grade surround sound.
I would urge you to contact Bose direct to get an answer here, as getting parts
is near impossible.
