Ah, out of the past a system that gives all the detail and "life"
that the modern digital format is only s l o w l y creeping up
on. And it proves the best of an era will survive on it's own
merits long after the also rans have lost their flash. I'm not
surprised that such a system dictates reel-to-reel tape for a
source to offer up the finest sonics. But I don't want to ignore
the 45 rpm 12" vinyl releases that come very close to the
15 ips reel-to-reel two-track in every way.
Rick, I'm curious if friends and neighbors that hear your system
remark about life-like qualities they have not heard elsewhere.
