I am hearing about some rather high prices being paid for H. Scott gear. Such as
$250 for a LT-110 FM multiplex tuner 'not restored'. About the same for the H.
Scot LK-48b amplifier, operational, but not refurbished.
I have a LT-110 that is completely electrically refurbished in a nice wood
cabinet, all original knobs and excellent cosmetic condition. I also have the
LK-48b that is completely electrically refurbished, including new audio output
tubes, in wood cabinet, all original knobs and excellent cosmetic condition.
What are these items worth 'refurbished'?
I have my LT-110 and LK-72b in use here and would not sell them, regardless of
the price. The LK-72b is electrically refurbished and has new match sets of
audio output tubes in it. I use it with the Dual 710 turntable, Revox B-77 reel
to reel, Teach AN-180 external Dolby/Equalization unit and Yamaha CD player.
Sounds terrific!
Thanks.
