[Vintage-Audio] Early AR Pricing

In the 1959 Radio Shack  "GUIDE TO ELECTRONIC BUYING", the Acoustic =
Research AR-1 cost $185 each, in Mahogony or Birch.
The AR-2 was $102 in walnut, $111 in korina  (what the heck is korina?)
Speakers were also available in unfinished cabinets.
Also available, not well known, was the AR-1W --- the woofer only =
version of the AR-1, for $145.. I have some pix of the ads for that.
There were various prices for various finishes.  Interesting!
