[Vintage-Audio] Selecting Tape On H. Scott Amp

I buy and sell a lot of decks in the high end consumer market. Often, 
when a person sells his personal deck he will also include the tapes 
he made in the 60-80s. These home recorded tapes are works of love and 
often are worth more than the deck. I am listening to a pair of reels 
(6+ hrs each) of CW music from the 80s. Fantastic quality with dbx I, 
good tape and great turntable and a lot of work. Most enjoyable sound 
even at 3 3/4 ips. The Teac X-1000R came with 12 of these tapes...a 
real benefit to this biz..
