[Vintage-Audio] Re Audio Tape Differences

Bob, 	

These are U.S. Navy tapes disposed of several years ago. A friend in Hawaii who
works for the Navy picked them up as they gave orders to throw them in the
trash. They are sealed, but inside the outer box.

Duane, I thought the military tapes were different only in that
they are not in boxes but in sealed envelopes with the numbers
and contract data printed on them.
As for weight there might be a great deal of difference in the
weight of the magnetic formulation.
Anyone know for sure?
