Ah, yes... Whipped Cream and other delights...  Probably the first =
nearly-naked lady I ever saw (except, I suppose, my mother, but does =
that count?).

Say, what is happening to that inventory? If he is liquidating, you may =
be able to grab a big pile for nearly nothing. If they decide to auction =
it up, email the list! I may have to make a road trip!

It was with great sadness today that I stopped for the last visit to =
Rarebird
Records. The owner is in his early seventies and has decided to put the =
business
up for sale. The inventory is something over 38,000 vinyl albums. Many =
are still
sealed, 'new', never opened. This is the last shop of its kind in this =
part of
the state. I think there is one in Ann Arbor, but that is a two hour =
drive from

I did find a few albums on my 'want' list, most were duplicates of =
originals I
have played since purchasing them new in 1965-1970. However, I did find =
two new
Floyd Cramer albums I had never heard of and they came home with me! =09

I am having fun transfering vinyl from the vintage system to the new =
Sony R10W
machine or to the Sony ZA5 ES DAT deck and then to the Sony R10W =
machine. Quite
an education. At least this way I can preserve some of the great music =
by great
musicians playing real instruments on CD. Heck, even my eleven year old =
grandson
thinks some of this stuff Grandpa plays is "Way cool!". Maybe it was =
because he
was looking at the jacket cover on the Herb Alpert TJB "Whipped Cream =
And Other
Delights" album. If you have seen it, you know why!=09
