Remember two amps: double the adapters.

Duane, could you just convert your existing cables to RCA only at the switchbox?
You'd just need four adapters to make the transition. Not the purest solution,
but it would work.

I have two stereo amplifiers and one set of speakers that I need to switch back
and forth between. Ideally, a second set of speakers would be the solution, but
thus far no vintage speakers have shown up.

The switch I found at Radio Shack, used RCA jacks, not screw terminals or
pressure connectors for the speaker wires. Because the amplifiers are fifteen
feet apart and the speakers are eighteen feet apart, I would have a fortune in
the switch and sixteen cables to wire this contraption up.

Does anybody make, or do any of you happen to have, a switch that will permit me
to switch one set of speakers between two amplifiers that does not use rca
jacks?

Thanks.
