[Vintage-Audio] Re marantz Equipment

Yes... They did.

Sony did manufactured Marantz,  at one time under the Sony / Superscope line
from Semi Valley and made in Japan.. The were very nice units. Looked just like
the classic Marantz. But... They had a " Gold -- Sony finish on the front panel
and knobs".  They did not have a Deeper Gold Marantz finish, like the units
from Sun Valley. It was just a little on the shiny  looking ( gold / silver )
and the metal case had a wooden finish pattern, that was a little faded
looking.
