Hi All,

Have any of you had experience using the higher end Teac models such as the
A-5500 (retrofit model with 3300 transport) or others? I am interested in
knowing the high frequency roll off running at 3.75 ips.

I do not think that the Revox B77 has Dolby. The Teach A-5500 does. I would
compare with no Dolby.

I have read the specifications on the Revox B77, but none are available for the
Teach A-5500 retrofit. Supposedly it uses the tape transport from the model 3300
modified to fit in the case. What are the specifications for the 3.75 and 7.5
ips speeds on the higher end Teac models using the 3300 transport or similar
transport systems?

At one time Teach made an outboard Dolby unit that would work with the Revox.
Are they still available? If so, do you know the model number and price?

Thank you.
