Pilot was one of the better makers of audio stuff in the 40's through the
60's. Some of their components are considered classics today, others not
quite. After you open the console, take note of the model numbers of the
individual components, and post them here for further comment.

Purchased at a local garage sale was Pilot Radio Corp Ensemble Series
Model S-170/171 Hi Fi Companion Spkr sys with Tuner/AMP/Speaker Console.

Inprocess of taking the backs off to see what a got.  Certainly are large
and heavy.
These two cabinets are about the same size and weight as the cabinet that
the AXIOM 22 MK II was in.  See earlier post.

Does anyone have  experience with these?
