Garrard called many of their models record changer\turntable since many
of them had removable spindles so that you could either stack records or
play them one at a time. Just checked the place we don't mention here on
the reflector, and lost count on the vast quantity of record changers,
turntables, direct drive machines, belt driven machines, water driven
machines, etc. Also found this site, http://www.theturntablefactory.com .
He buys, sells, fixes, etc. machines of all types.
Pete
p.s. I still have my Lafayette, T-4000, DC servo controlled belt-driven
turntable and my indestructible Philips GA-212
