Yes, there is. But one needs to start a thread, not just expect one they want to
happen. I have done recording for over thirty-five years. Toss out some
questions, you will get replies.
My philosophy is, you only get out as much as you put in. Most of these lists
have hundreds of members/subscribers, the vast majority of which never post. But
you just never know who will reply privately sometimes, so be patient and throw
out a few crumbs for the group to chew upon.
Hey, if nothing else, you and I can talk! Ha Ha.

Thanks Duane! I'm a newbie on this list and come here with
some gripes with other lists to which I have subscribed. The
big one is my book is using reply while changing the subject
but not changing the subject line.
I was hoping to truly find vintage audio here but find it is
mainly geeetar amp stuff... not truly AUDIO in the way I
think of it... really high quality recordings ( I do my own
live recordings with condensor mics and Crown analog
reel to reels) and listen using old Kennedy/Dyna Mark
III amps and other vintage stuff. Sorry, the vinyl gets the
modern souped up Rega Planar 3 with OL/RB 250 arm
and Grado touch.
Is there any audio here in the way I think of it???
