Thanks Rudy. 	

The pause button only works as long as you hold it down. The lock button is on
the Revox remote control unit which I do not have. Never seen a deck done this
way. Oh well. Such is life.  	

The remote, by the way, is a cabled unit, not a hand held remote like we think
of today.
