This is all true, but from what I've heard (from several sources) the 7591
type tube is usually rather short lived, probably partly due to the fact
that they try to get the power of a 6L6 out of an envelope (and plate
structure)the size of a 6V6GT.  The 7591 is very expensive and Scott pushed
em hard with about 495VDC on the plate supply.
