I repair stereo and other audio equipment part time at one of the local tv
shops and am very familiar with PRB concerning belts, idler wheels etc.
Unfortunately, sometime back PRB quit manufacturing nearly all their phono
idler wheels and they are no longer available. The last I checked I 'think'
there was something like one or two stock numbers available for the common
BSR type changers.
The only alternative is to use their idler wheel rebuilding service. You
send them your old idler and they will rebuild it for you, neither cheap nor
speedy, at least through our local rep. And I had two out of perhaps 4
idlers 'lost' in the process. I'll never know if that was due to the local
rep or the company.
On the other hand, no problem getting belts for the belt driven turntables,
a couple companies (including PRB) make em.
