It is always interesting to hear what others are using for speaker enclosures.
The three primary being; infinite baffle, bass reflex (AKA ducted port) and
folded horn.
I was honestly surprised when I discovered the Bozak B-310 and B-410 Concert
Grand (identical except for some woodwork on the B-410 that caused Bozak to move
the eight tweeters to the left side of one cabinet and the right side of the
other. The B-310 has them in the center top to bottom.), were of the infinite
baffle design. I have never hear any speakersystem sound better than these 1971
monsters.
Then we get into front verses rear porting. Which is superior and wy rear port
to begin with? Increased resonance off the wall?
