[Vintage-Audio] Modern Speaker For Vintage System?

You could do what I did in 1984 when I went shopping for my
"front room" speakers. I took my best CD (Mannheim
Steamroller), my loudest CD (Telarc TimeWarp) and went from
store to store trying EVERYTHING with my music and their
room. Sometimes I moved the seating to match my room, but
used their equipment and acoustics. I listened to speakers
costing $10,000 and costing $50. I settled on a pair of 15
inch 3 way no-name in heavy cabinets (60lbs) that cost me
$65 a pair. That was in 1984..
