We have finally heard back from Peterborough Utilities Group and we are confirmed officially for the corn roast this Saturday at Shelter #3 at the Riverview Park and Zoo.

The weather looks good, though a bit warm (27 C is the current outlook) so bring a water bottle or anything else that may make your time more comfortable.  There are picnic tables there for some seating, but also consider bringing a chair if you find that more comfortable. (Also I'm not sure exactly how many tables there are).    

The suggested arrival time is around 3pm, though we have the space for the whole day.  So come anytime that is convenient for you.  

This is a potluck sort of event.  So please feel free to bring anything if you are able.  Just make arrangements to collect your dishes at the end so there is no confusion or lost items.  burgers and corn will be provided.

The zoo has a no alcohol policy.  I will not be inspecting peoples drinks (obviously) but if you decide to act on your own, just remember that we want to use this location in the future and we want good relationships with the community and positive optics as representation of the club.
