Hello every one, as you all know I have been bitten
by the POTA bug and having a long term reaction.
In the pass the club had fox hunts as a club activity
but with COVID and cost of gas, this activity perished.
Well with POTA, you do not have to leave your home to
take part in the activities.
I am
currently suggesting, one or two members each Saturday afternoon
goes out to activate a local park in area.
We work 10 meters, 6, 2 and 70 CM, what ever you have of course.
There are number of members within the club that are already activators.
I am thinking of doing this as a lead up to the Saturday evening
net currently running at 8 PM.
Comments and further ideas welcome.
This might also be nice to take along a fellow member
to play radio, that may not have the ability to do so on thier own.
