Hi Steve,

I got at Yaesu FT-897M or DM over Christmas and found out it is not a US version.

So the problem is that it does not cover all the bands completely. Not even sure what a M model is, can’t find anything on the internet about this model.

Do you know anyone that can re work or program this radio to a US version?
