be hosting a
Special Event –
Solar Powered
Winlink Gateway
operating under
the call sign W6AH at
the 2022
Baker2Vegas
race. All
hams are
encouraged
to check-in
during this
special event.
To
participate, send
a standard Winlink
Check In
form to the
tactical call
sign: WAVETALKERS
anytime between
April 6,
2022 at 0900
Pacific Time
and April 10,
2022 at 0900
Pacific Time.
Check-ins
can be
submitted
through ANY
supported
Winlink RMS
Gateway or
Mode
including:
Telnet, Packet,
VARA FM, VARA
HF, Pactor,
ARDOP, MESH, or
Peer to Peer. If
you have VARA HF
capabilities,
please try to
submit your
check-in
directly using the
W6AH
Gateway
operating from
the race course
in the Mojave
Desert on 80m,
40m, 20m, and
17m.
Participants are
encouraged to
submit check-ins
via multiple
modes and bands
to practice all
of your Winlink
capabilities.
