Failure to take reasonable direction from a Net Controller during a directed net is sufficient reason to give someone the boot.

Perhaps you need a repeater control operator on standby and drop whichever link KI5SSB is coming in via. (This is a Texas call, so maybe EchoLink?)

Progressive response.
1. Warn them
2. Warn them a second time
3. Give ‘em the boot by dropping their link.

I know I’m piggy-backing on an old E-mail from Steven, but I feel I need to say something.

 

I’ve just about had it up to here with comments from our American participants on the net regarding the protest that’s going on in several places here in Canada.  It was all I could do to keep my mouth shut this morning.  You would have thought that when a couple of comments were made by people on this side of the border about bleeding tongues, KI5SSR would have gotten the hint.  I even said that we shouldn’t be talking politics, but she didn’t seem to take the hint.

 

If she does it again next Wednesday, I plan to tell her that we don’t need people from other countries telling us how to run our country, and that her Republican comments aren’t welcome.  I suppose I could be convinced not to say it, but you may have a hard job.  So expect it if I haven’t been convinced otherwise in the meantime.
