barry, blm presented the treasurer's report. petty cash:

activities. barry blm said we had a good jamborie on the air. len, lrm reminded us about the rally of the tall pines on november 24 and 25. barry, blm also reminded us that devon needs to get numbers for the christmas dinner.

technical. rick told us that he,  john nw, and jerry jlw reorganized the tjr repeater building with a new cabinet, the repeater, power supply, etc.  rick, iqz showed a picture on the screen of the new tjr repeater building. 

ares. in the absence of john vl, dave sd told us that the special edition of tca containing the stories about emergency preparedness is out, and the article about the flood of 2004 made it into the 17  selected for the issue.

Our annual ham radio course begins march 4 for 12 weeks. we have one person, but we need more. we're also looking for more instructors, because rick iqz would like to retire.

a celebration of life for bob, ve3esu will be held on saturday, november 10 at the golf and country club.

rick, iqz also brought it to our attention that 3 or 4 people on rtr have been tying up pbo, tjr, and the apsley repeater.  we'll think about whether we should take any action for a month.

Paul, KBI is looking into the tailgate party. the tentative date is may 25 2019 but he is still negotiating with the powers that be.

dave sd said that we will have our regular meeting on december 4 and january's meeting will take place on the 8th. elections will be held in january, and dave announced that he is not running for president. he will, however, continue to organize field day.

dave, sd and len, lrm are looking into attaching a wires-x node to the 70 cm repeater.
